Two weeks and counting

Hello hello hello family and friends:

Well, my travels officially begin two weeks from tomorrow, and I've found myself battling with an assortment of things (mainly how to create a blog)...
As of now, I suppose I'm at a place where the idea of a one-way ticket to another country hasn't exactly hit me yet as I mindlessly pack random things and proceed to unpack them in an effort to make sure I haven't forgotten anything.

Two weeks will quickly dwindle into nothing, and I'll be wandering through the airport preparing to wander through the world.

Until then, however, I'll continue to try to figure out this blog and what else I need to pack.

I'll be trying to update this thing with finesse and ease as often as I can to let you all know what's going on wherever I am, assuming this "test-run" posting works out well.
